Instruction1.A biological concern can lead to a phycological or social concerns by way of many things such as genetics. Another can be one that happens prenatal such as a persons mother using drugs during pregnancy which then leads the child to developing developmental disabilities. As a result of those disabilities they grow up isolated, ridiculed, and never received the proper help. This leads to anger problems that culminate into violent outbursts. I would go about treating this individuals issues by first getting them set up with someone that specializes in counseling those with disabilities and possibly a support group for those with much of the same setbacks. Next would be anger management. A psychological concern such as depression and anxiety can lead to substance abuse issues. Treatment for this would happen all at once with getting the individual into a rehabilitation program and counseling. Knowing this information advance is important for case management because it can show what they may be struggling with, and what measures have already been taken. This can help me know what to do to help. 2.Biological concerns can lead to social concerns because there are some disorders or illnesses that can affect how a person handles social situations, such as autism. Autism can affect how a person reads a room and it could impact their decision making causing some social concerns. If someone has autism, I recommend they receive services such as applied behavior analysis along with other services that can help them work through social situations such as speech therapy. Psychological concerns can lead to biological or social concerns because certain trauma or experiences can lead to problems that can later be considered biological problems for any offspring. If someone were to experience childhood abuse, they could end up with a mental illness that could be passed down to offspring. If someone were to be abused as a child, I would recommend they go to therapy along with seeing a psychiatrist, this could help them talk through their struggles and emotions and to see if there is any medication that could help them deal with their struggles. Some advantages in knowing the biopsychosocial features of any inmate population is knowing how you can help them or knowing different ways you can support them.
