The progress checks are worth fifteen points each. There are two sections to each check. The first 10 points can be earned via short answer questions (e.g., multiple choice, always/sometimes/never, true/false, matching) that cover textbook reading assigned for the day or material previously cov- ered in class. These questions should be completed without referencing your textbook, notes, or classmates so that you can get an honest picture of where you are in the course. The second section will be an essay-type question where you write down any questions you have regarding the material covered in the previous several days of class. I will answer these questions on Fridays (our catch up days) or via recorded lecture. You will receive 5 points for completing this question. I have attached readings and content from this week's class to help you answer the quiz questions please read Sections 2.1-2.3 (page 41 to 71), Summarizing Data and please read all of week 2's notes.
