Instruction
Instructions: Read the Shoreline Stadium Case (Chapter 6: Case 6.2). You will use your MS Project Professional software and the MS Project data file to create the project WBS, Schedule and Gannt chart. You will analyze the results of your MS Project Professional reports to answer the following case questions. Attach your MS Project Professional work file to support your statements and your discussion of the case with your fellow class members. Check your answers with the case solution that is located in Assignment Help (PMP), section, 7th Edition folder. You will fine the data file and case solution file in the Shoreline Stadium, Case 6.2 Questions and Solution folder. Case 6.2 Shoreline Stadium Case Excerpt – See the text for the Rest of the Case not shown here due to length. The G&E Company is preparing a bid to build the new 47,000-seat Shoreline baseball stadium. The construction must start on July 3, 2017, and be completed in time for the start of the 2020 season. A penalty clause of $250,000 per day of delay beyond April 3 is written into the contract. Answer the following case questions: 1. Will the project be completed by the April 3 deadline? How long will it take? 2. What is the critical path for the project? 3. Based on the schedule would you recommend that G&E pursue this contract? Why?
