Using your own words, define the term “intervention” and explain the role of intervention strategies in addressing language and social skills for children with autism spectrum disorder. Slides 4-6: Intervention Strategies Identify and discuss two intervention strategies that can be used to help children with autism spectrum disorder communicate appropriately in each of the following settings: home, school, and community. Evaluate the pros and cons of each intervention strategy you have chosen to discuss, and explain how/why you would utilize these intervention strategies as a professional working in your field.
