These are two essays one small that is a message from 1-2 pages , and the other should be a well constructed at least 3-4 pages essay, i need someone that can understand the prompt very well and deliver a good and organized essay as i really need a high grade on this. Your exam consists of two essays based on Sophocles play, "Antigone". You must complete BOTH. Read the following prompts carefully as each prompt is somewhat different from the other. You have two hours to complete this exam based upon the time you begin. Plan your time well and create an outline so that you can be sure to include all the main points you need to in your essay. Be sure to proofread everything for errors. Spelling, Grammar, MLA format, and Syntax count as per rubric below. Part #1 1. Pretend to be the character Ismene in the play "Antigone" and write a letter to Antigone before her arrest. What would you tell her about her plans to bury Polyneices? This is a letter, so begin with the proper salutation of how you would address your sister, and should be 1-2 pages. This is a personal letter, so it should sound such, while at the same time address the issues surrounding the events leading up to her arrest. Part #2 2. Consider the following questions, and compose a 5 paragraph essay incorporating your thoughts. Your essay must have an introductory paragraph ending with a thesis statement highlighted in bold, followed by three well organized body paragraphs, ending with a conclusion that ties it all together. How and why might the character Antigone appeal to modern feminists? In what ways does she exemplify particular feminist ideals? What would modern feminists make of Creon? In what ways might he represent male power (patriarchy) in general rather than simply the power of one particular male? Does Antigone ever behave in ways that modern feminists might criticize? What might feminists make of her suicide? How do you respond to her suicide? Explain your reasons in detail.
