Here is also a question to think about....isn't it true that that the longer a community (our country) goes without a terrorist act that community has a priority on privacy...whereas if an act then occurs, doesn't that priority shift to more aggressive intelligence and security methods? Put another way, limits on intelligence activity is a moving target; the more secure people feel, the more they are focused on privacy from government "intrusion"...but if they become fearful for their safety, they are willing to allow the government to more intrusive to keep them safe?
