Identify steps you will take to avoid losing points or getting a zero for plagiarism. Additionally, list two new APA formatting rules to share with your classmates. Lastly, how will you address your work study habit challenges based o academic support and available college resources? 2.Discussion: What is Research & Reliability? Using the assigned reading(s), how can research be conducted reliably? What does currency mean? How significant is a peer-reviewed document? Is an Internet article more or less reliable than one from a college/university library? 3.Plagiarism 1-2 pages Based on the peer reviewed article this week on plagiarism, what do you see would be the most effective interventions that you could use in writing your own assignments/reports? 4.First select a category [Collaborative efforts to improve a community], then identify a specific topic/issue of interest for you that relates to a community organization in your neighborhood/city. Discuss [200 words min.] why you selected this topic. Explain/support your selection. You will focus on this topic during this term only. Review form for creating a research question in Read/Watch. Develop a research question that specifies what you want to explore for your community [name geographical location]. This question will guide your research efforts for your topic. Identify a LOCAL organization, agency, company, or association that addresses your issue and one that could be a resource...only for this term. NOTE -- your project will be a simulated [pretend] project...for purposes of this course only. You do not have to go out and do any of this. You do not have Springfield College permission so if you talk to anyone it should be made clear that this is an informal class assignment. By taking this course, it is intended that you will gain or enhance the research skills needed to carry out the steps/processes necessary for the development of your topic of interest. This information will be included in your final IRB Application Packet Submission.
