The citizens of Ontario have been devasted by the pandemic. Numerous businesses are closing their doors permanently; the Mental Health and well being of school age children are at an all time low. Many would argue it is the fault of the Premier why we find ourselves in such a bleak predicament. Many believe the lockdowns should have happened sooner and businesses re-opened too quickly. The Premier has implemented numerous initiatives to deal with our current situation. However, not a lot of consideration was given to individuals between the ages of 14-19. Part 1: In groups of no more than 3, you are required to develop 5 policies that you believe will improve the social-emotional well-being (Mental Health) of individuals ages 14-19. At least 3 of the policies should be sports or activities related. The policies you create must have a very specific purpose; i.e. why will they be useful for improving Mental Heath. Part 2: Create a Public Service Announcement (PSA) informing your target audience why theses measures will be beneficial to them and why they should follow them. Part 3: Finally, you are required to write a professional letter to the Minister of Education informing him of the consequences if your measures are not implemented.
