InstructionThis paper needs to be 850-1000 words (about 4 pages) long. The paper should have a cover page and references according to APA style rules. https://libguides.southernct.edu/apastyle . Use Library resources and the writing center to support your efforts. Include the word count on the title page and make sure it is within the required range. This paper should be a re-write and expansion of any entry you have submitted. Use a wiki entry, blog or short paper as a jumping off point for a longer paper that discusses children's literature concepts or is a book review, using the original instructions for the entry you are expanding. Copy and paste your original assignmnet on the last page of the paper. (Do not include it in the word count for this paper.) Note any comments I made on the original assignment and address them, make the corrections in the new paper. The new paper should have the same basic thesis, but be longer and more developed then the original journal entry. The new paper should include references. NOTE: If you are going to review pciture books or "early reader" titles then make the paper a comparison of multiple titles--do not write a four page paer about one picture book. Remember some of these tips: Use paragraphs for different ideas. Write in complete sentences--every sentence has two halves, the subject (what the sentence is about) and the predicate (what happens to the subject). Have a beginning, middle, and end to the whole paper and to each paragraph. Use correct grammar including correct singular and plural verbs. Avoid the prounouns "I," "you," "we." This is not a conversation--it is a formal paper.
