Develop a specific thesis that argues that this play is fundamental for women to read/experience and why. You final sentence points to that stance, so take it and argue it fully. 2. Look into male/female identity and roles. You may find some interesting information in psychology sources that would speak to this and be useful in evaluating the role of patriarchy in this play and how it effects a female audience (or how it effects both male and female audience members to bring about change, conversation, etc). 3. Look into the conventions of theatre at Shakespeare’s time for women and restrictions of their involvement in plays. And that may lead to something interesting and powerful in your discussion of a male dominated society representation, as well as point yo it’s value for today’s contemporary society looking at how much and how little change has happened for women in theatre, and what does that mean. There’s something there to support your viewpoint for sure.
