InstructionAll papers should have an introductory paragraph. This should contain a thesis statement in which you present what you are going to discuss, and should outline what you are going to say. ● All papers should have a body where you present the crux of your paper. This should brings together and support your main ideas. ● All papers should have a concluding paragraph which sums up what you have presented. The conclusion should contain at least three sentences and focus on the heart of your subject matter. Your paper should discuss a social problem in which you have an interest. • It should discuss the problem from one of the three sociological perspectives. (Functionalist, Conflict, or Symbolic Interactionist). • It should identify how the problem developed, its current status, and solutions that may help resolve the problem • It should recognize arguments that differ from the one you are presenting. • Papers should be 4 to 5 pages long not including the title, table of contents, or citation pages.
