InstructionSignature Assignment: Research Project, Part 4: Final Proposal and Presentation [due Mon 4/26] Assignment Content Throughout this course, you have worked on different elements of your research project. Now it is time to combine those elements and finalize your research proposal. Combine your Research Project, Parts 1, 2, and 3 assignments into a cohesive proposal, applying any feedback you have received from your faculty member. Your final proposal should be a paper of 1,750 to 2,100 words, and should include the following: Description of social problem Research question Literature review Formulation of hypotheses Delineation of major variables Selection of appropriate research design Evaluation of strengths and weaknesses of research design Assessment of sampling methodologies Evaluation of data analysis methods Application of study to social work practice At least 3 peer-reviewed sources that support your research proposal ideas Include sub-headings for each component of your research project that align with the bulleted listed of items above. The sub-headings in the Final Proposal should align with those that have been included in Parts 1, 2 and 3. Create a 12- to 18-slide Microsoft® PowerPoint® presentation in which you summarize your proposal for your agency's board. Each slide should have a title which aligns to the bulleted list of items above. Note: Powerpoints are meant to be a visual aid to a verbal presentation. Therefore, each slide should contain only main ideas of text and should be visually appealing to an audience member (with color, images, graphics, etc). Speaker's Notes should be included for each slide, and are expected to include rich and significant details to support the main ideas presented on each slide. Format both your paper and your presentation according to course-level APA guidelines with title page/slide, sub-headings, in-text citations, reference page/slide.
