Hello, Please write an essay according to instructions. Please make sure that you have a clear thesis (!!), good structure and answer to the questions below. Instructions: 1)Read Police in the Hallways by Kathleen Nolan paying special attention to the research methods. 2)Write an essay discussing the following: - Which communities the author researched - Identify all the different communities, not just the students. - Identify any communities that are missing but potentially important for the author’s inquiries. - Discuss why the author may have chosen to exclude those missing communities. - Research methods: - How did Nolan learn about the communities? What did she do to recall what happened? How did she build rapport? etc. -Consider the purpose and strengths, as well as the challenges and drawbacks, of using qualitative methods. How did the author deal with verification, reliability and ethics? - How could the author have learned about the same communities using different methods? - There are many different types of qualitative methods. Do you think she would have learned anything different from using different methods? - How would positioning herself differently have changed what she learned about the communities? The correct format is typed, 12 point font, 1.5 point spacing, and conforming to professional standards of grammar and punctuation. If you cite sources other than Nolan/Police in the Hallways, include the author, title of article or book, name of institution or website (if applicable), and date of publication. You may use exact quotes from the book and class materials, but use them sparingly. Do not cut and paste without using quotation marks. Student name should appear on the top of the first page. Always use page numbers. Always write professionally. Avoid exaggeration, statements of personal belief, and unsubstantiated conclusions. Plagiarism free.
