InstructionYou are expected to answer by writing between 200-300 words and comment to a classmate in no less than 50 words. You have to post first in order to see your classmates’ answers. This part of the course is a prerequisite to passing the course (Gordon Rule). If you ignore the discussion forum, you should not take this course. Discussions carry the possibility of extra credit from 1-4 points, depending on the length of your original answer. For every 100 words over 300, you gain 2 points. Make sure you cite your sources, preferably through a hyperlink, in order to be ADA compliant and facilitate the reading for the students who use a screen reader. The extra credit opportunity does not apply for comment to classmates. Repetitious content (if you keep saying the same thing in different words) does not count as extra words. Adding the question itself to your answers, or including name and class, does not count towards the word count. Nor does the citation of your academic reference. Quotations longer than 30 words do not count towards the word count. It is advisable you paraphrase them. Question Question Read the article Pearls Before Breakfast-reprised here (If the link does not open for you, I have also attached it under this discussion). Concentrate on the original experiment, when Bell played incognito, as a street musician. Read carefully the reaction of children vs adults. How do you explain the reaction of these two groups to the original experiment?
