Instruction1. Write a 5-page discussion paper (not counting the cover page and reference page) on any topic in transportation. This means that page 5 of your document must be completely to the end of the page and not just one or two paragraphs at the top of the page. Clearly label your cover sheet with your paper’s title (centered on the page) and include your name, the class, the date, and my name. You must also have a clearly labeled reference page. (See #5 & #6 for more on the minimum number of references and the reference page and style.) 2. Make sure that you have an introduction and conclusion. The main body of the paper should explain the “who, what, (when), and why” about your topic. Please review your paper to ensure there are no typos or grammatical errors. 3. All margins must be one inch (1”) on left and right and top and bottom. Please double space the paper. 4. Only the following standard fonts may be used: New Times Roman, Arial, Georgia, Calibri, or Cambria. Font must be 12 points. 5. You must use 10 sources, for example, newspapers, magazines, journal articles. You cannot use blogs or Wikipedia! 6. Use the MLA or APA style for all in text citations and the reference page. Please note all online sources properly. Word will automatically create your reference page correctly for you. Please use it! 7. After March 27th, late papers will receive 10 points off per day. This is in addition to errors in grammar/punctuation, content, missing/incorrect references and citations, and lack of introduction and conclusion. 11. You will submit your paper to using the “Assignment” link using SafeAssign, which is a plagiarism checker. 12. You must ensure that your paper is not plagiarized. SafeAssign will show the plagiarism score of your paper. Any paper receiving more than 15% will be considered plagiarized.
