I do not accept late extra credit for ANY reason - no exceptions. I've had students upload the wrong document or in the wrong format, and I have not accepted it. I've had students submit their extra credit one minute late, and I have not accepted it. If you want to do the extra credit, and you want credit for your extra credit, then make sure you turn your work in early. If left to the last second, something always goes wrong. This extra credit is worth up to 15 points (5 points/film) that will be added to a test or assignment grade. Open the attachment to see how I want the review written. Please write a journalistic style review. Your paper needs to be in essay format. It must be 600 words in length, Times New Roman, double spaced, and font size 12. I've attached a rubric and a note taking/character sheet. You MUST submit the character/note taking sheet in order to receive full credit . I'll deduct several letter grades if you do not submit the document or you do not fill it out correctly/completely. Not every character is worth noticing, so use your judgment. Please take this opportunity seriously if you want the extra credit points. I want thoughtful and thorough essays. If you watch the film(s) with a classmate, make sure you do your own work. I will not accept plagiarized extra credit. Helpful Tip: you should probably go to IMDB or Wikipedia to read about your film before you watch it. Skip the plot section and read it after you watch the film. You need to know context before you can get a good grasp of the film. I do not provide the film(s). Many of these types of films are streamed now. You can check your local library, too, in case they have a copy.
