Need helping taking a timed math/science assignment. 70 minutes to do 8 problems. They are on combined gas laws. SIG-FIGS are very important when answering. I uploaded some homework that the test will be very similar to.

  • yeah its exactly like that. but the only issue with your answers was you didn't round using sigfigs. Would you be able to on the test? like in the screenshot, I showed your answer before, and the correct revised answer after the sigfigs.

  • not necessarily. the significant figures come from the numbers in the problems themselves. Sigfig examples: 1. 3200 - 2 sigfigs ( no decimal point so 0’s don’t matter) 2. 3200. - 4 sigfigs (has decimal point so count the 0’s before it) 3. 0.0302 - 3 sigfigs (trapped 0 so count it, and the other numbers are alway sigfigs) 4. 0.0005 - 1 sigfig (0’s are before the Sigfig so don’t matter)

  • or, we can do it this way. you go into the test and look at all the questions and answer them the same way you did last time, but write them on a separate document. don't actually write your answers on the test, and don't mark it as done, just close the browser. then, just exit the test, and upload your answers onto here. and then I can go into the test with your answers and change them to the proper sigfigs and then put them in
