Project Summary: Write an essay of 3-4 pages responding to one of the prompts below. Your essay should support a clearly stated thesis by interpreting passages from the texts relevant to your chosen topic (abortion or animal rights), and by providing arguments for the claims you make. Your thesis should advocate your own position, and any outside sources consulted in formulating your interpretation must be cited using an appropriate format using CMS (Chicago Manual of Style) and MLA (Modern Language Association) citation formats. Animal Welfare: Do we have moral responsibility in relation to animals, and if so, why? Your response should develop a clear and argumentative thesis concerning the ethical treatment of animals. You are required to explicitly engage with two of the five authors whose texts concerning the ethical treatment of animals were considered in class (Matheny's "Utilitarianism and Animals," Regan's "Are Zoos Morally Defensible?," Coetzee's "The Lives of Animals" and/or Singer's and Smuts' responses to Coetzee) and to defend your own view against objections. I will put the reading articles and you have to read it and use it in the essay. Also, I will put attachment and if you can write the same style and do it college writing. Thanks
