Project Summary: You have been asked to conduct a system evaluation. In doing so, you identify some system shortfalls for the payroll department in the organisation. Part 1 Write a report, outlining potential solutions to the following identified gaps in system performance. (Note: potential solutions could be in the realm of the system itself or supporting policies and procedures.) a Leave requests are being incorrectly categorised and recorded. b The person requesting the leave nominates the type of leave it is, but generally has incomplete knowledge to do this correctly. Type of leave taken is therefore being recorded incorrectly, with repercussions for individual entitlements and business profitability. c Poor detection and distribution of information regarding changes in award pay rates. This creates the need for back pay, causing employee dissatisfaction and putting pressure on the organisations cash flow.
