Project Summary: Proponents of same sex marriage (sometimes known as "marriage equality") have argued that this is a civil rights matter, protected by the Constitution. Do you agree with this perception? Or do you see it as a policy choice states should be free to make or not make as they see fit? If civil rights are being denied a class of people, shouldn't the federal government be involved? Did the Supreme Court make the right decision recently in Obergefell v. Hodges?
