Project Summary: For your first Reflection paper, you will be analyzing the first three chapters of the Biblical book Genesis. Your instructor has maintained that a thoughtful understanding of these chapters lays the entire foundation for the Judeo/Christian Worldview and religion, especially as concerns the creation and even more importantly, the relationship of God with mankind described in the Garden of chapter 2 and the Fall of chapter 3. Do you agree? Why does this form the foundation? What can we learn about Christianity from this foundation? In a 3-4 page, double-spaced (font no less than 11pt) paper using MLA format, analyze the text of these first three chapters of Genesis to touch , as well as a BRIEF summary of an outside source with which you find your views in harmony. Finally, reflect on these passages as they pertain and inform the rest of the Biblical study. DO NOT only discuss creation versus evolution. While this may perhaps serve part of your reflection, your instructor does NOT want this to be the primary focus. Instead, reflect more upon the relationship aspect of the Garden and the Fall.
