Project Summary: Commentary Assignment: Students will be required to read newspaper and/or magazine articles dealing with controversial/ethical issues and provide a brief commentary. Each commentary is to be submitted along with a copy of the article. The length of the commentary will be a maximum of 3 pages, typed, Arial 12 font, double spaced. Each student will be expected to select a topic relevant to the issues presented in PAD 4046 and select the article based on a current ethical issue in the public sector. Commentary should present a comprehensive overview of the issue, analysis, and problem resolution. Student needs to demonstrate the ability of applying ethical principles and ethical theories and how they can be a powerful means of clarifying and resolving complex ethical dilemmas. Must have flawless grammar and spelling. No credit will be given to assignments/discussions with multiple grammatical/mechanical errors.
