Project Summary: Overview In this course, you’ve used the first steps associated with developing an evidence-based practice (EBP) recommendation. In the first steps, you developed a question that addresses a defined professional practice problem. Then you conducted a search and evaluated primary, peer-reviewed research articles. Now, in this project, you will pull together all your information into an evidence table. To do this, you will evaluate elements of the research articles against your PICO (population, intervention, comparison, outcomes) question using instructor feedback. You will be reevaluating some elements and evaluating other elements for the first time. This is a critical component of the evidence-based practice process in professional nursing practice which will prepare you for making a recommendation.
