Project Summary: Instruction are uploaded on the document Example: Lacrosse Lower body strength will be assessed using an estimated 1-RM Back Squat Test where they will have a specific barbell warm-up and progress the back squat until they can only complete 3–6 repetitions at 90% of the predicted 1RM weight. This test is being applied because leg strength has been demonstrated to improve running economy performance (Storen et al., 2008). The criterion average for the 1-RM back squat will be 75 ± 10 kgs for women and 120 ± 30 kgs for men to determine if additional lower body strength training will be needed in their programming (Enemark-Miller et. al., 2009; Sell et. al., 2018).
