Project Summary: Discuss the following In 600 - 800 substantive (thoughtful, insightful) and well written words: Examine the theme in Ibsen's "Enemy of the People" that the moral success of one agent seems to require the moral failure of another. Focus on how Thomas Stockman's obligation and oath as a medical doctor to "do no harm" conflicts with his role as a member of the governing board of the Baths. Focus also on Peter Stockman's special moral requirement as mayor to the welfare of the community. Be sure to address how the community's interests and familial obligations are also factors competing for moral relevancy. Finally, synthesize the play with at least two of the articles linked in the unit: Flint, MI; Kentucky; Blue Bell; Tylenol, etc. Conclude with what you believe should have been done regarding the contaminated baths, and explain why in in terms of ethics.
