Project Summary: Nestle is a Global food and beverage company headquartered in Vevey Switzerland. With reve-nues of over $90 billion in 2017 it is the world’s leading food company. It’s portfolio includes over 2,000 brands worldwide – from global household names such as Nescafe, Purina and Gerber to local market leaders. In particular, it has approximately 30 strategic billion dollar brands managed centrally. While developing local brands that respond to local needs has always been at the heart of the company’s growth strategy, the explosion of social media platforms has led to a need to rationalize, globalize and move to a “one-brand strategy”. This it is felt simplifies the communication around brands, and also makes it easier to connect with consumers and build international awareness.
