Project Summary: In this module, we will examine how analysis of the educational aspects of a health promotion program and the assessment of characteristics and learning needs of the target audience effectively impact intervention developed to influence health behaviors. This module will also review the Healthy People 2020 and Dietary Guidelines for American 2015-2020 nutrition objectives, the most current diet recommendations to reduce risks of developing nutrition-related diseases, FDA regulations for food labeling, and government nutrition assistance programs for poor and older Americans.
