Project Summary: Hello, I need an Argumentative Synthesis essay, 6 pages lenth. due on 11/24/2014 on 3:00 pm. The topic is about Health Care, Should government provide free health care for American Citizen. I need to use 3 sources from a certified website,( .gov) for example. the following message is from my instructor, a replaying for an email that I sent. -------------------------- The outline looks decent, for now. It is not very complete or informative so I can't say anything very specific right now. What I can say is that the `synthesis` portion of the assignment is not the same as your argument portion of the assignment. You first must synthesize the sources--discuss how they agree and disagree on the topic, in content, etc--then you formulate your own argument from the sources. For a topic like this, the sources you have provided look mostly like they will be good background. You will want to find primary sources--from various governmental perspectives, health care professionals, sociologists, economists, and maybe other countries' examples? The source about the pros and cons might be helpful but only if you are careful not to just repeat the things it says. You will have to make sure you are adding something new to the conversation. Also, I think you should make sure you are talking about either free healthcare--fully free--or something else, like subsidized health care or even the Affordable Care Act. Also, specify if you are arguing for free health care for everyone or just some people? For anyone who shows up at the hospital or just citizens? Citizens and visa holders? Etc. Be specific in topic and thesis. Importantly--do you mean `government` of any kind in any place or do you mean the government of the USA? State or federal?
