Project Summary: Should license conceal and carry gun holders be allowed to carry their guns on college campuses and into classes? You must be 21 years of age or older, pass a background check and have the proper training classes for a CHL. For three consecutive sessions of the Texas Legislature students and university officials have opposed the bill but legislators keep trying to pass the bill over their objections. Why have these political differences developed and what groups are influential in the decision making process? You must have a very clear thesis statement. You must provide support for your thesis that is based on evidence (Legal, Empirical, Moral, Political) You must use a minimum of two outside sources. You must use APSA/ APA or MLA formatting in your citations. You will be required to use in-text citations as well as providing a works cited at the end of your essay. *Any thought that is not your own, must be cited.
