Project Summary: Purpose Envisioning brings Agile teams into alignment. Often, this is practiced at the start of each Sprint or Iteration, when the team defines their Iteration goals or when the team defines the vision for a product/solution. The assignment provides you with an opportunity to practice envisioning. Before goals can be envisioned, the Agile team needs a vision for the project, product, solution, or system. Using Cobb’s Project Vision guidelines on pp. 387-388 and p. 61, prepare your problem statement and project vision statement below. Be innovative and create your own project vision. This could be for a problem or need you currently have, at your job or something you see that is much needed in a community where you live or work.
