Project Summary: Knowing what food producers put in our food is an important responsibility that most consumer ignore. As a student of nutrient it is imperative that you not only understand what the nutrients in foods do, but also appreciate what and why other ingredients are in the processed food you eat. For this discussion research two ingredients (other than salt and sugar) on the GRAS list. Your discussion should include the purpose/function of the ingredient and if there are any issues or concerns around that ingredient. Provide your sources of information in your initial post .
