Who were some of the major figures of the time that were for and aganist imperialism? 2) How did the nation's perceptions of the role of government - its powers and responsibilities - change in the 1930s? What specific programs and policies are examples of this shift in perception? How did the balance of power in the federal government shift during this time period, as it relates to the three branches of government?
